Take A Historic Alexandria VA Day Trip!

Alexandria, VA is a great day trip or overnight excursion from the city of Williamsburg. This historic community is located on the west shore of the Potomac River, thirty minutes south of Washington DC. When you’re ready to venture out for a full day of exploring, it’s about a 2 hour drive from Williamsburg, with great attractions and activities for the entire family.

The elegant and stately homes, cobblestone alleyways and unique architecture of Alexandria are a clear testament to its enduring role as one of America’s most historic cities.
