From lounge chairs on wheels to the queen on her throne- the race is a site to see. Tons of spectators watch the mad dash start from Sullivan Square through town with teams eating, drinking, pushing, and shoving their way back to Sullivan Square for the finish. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals as well as a Victory cup are presented in an elaborate ceremony. Prizes of most creative chariot, most creative costumes and best over all chariot theme are also awarded.
