Free sky observing begins at sunset at the Virginia Living Museum. Explore enigmatic Saturn and the Cassini mission in the "Ringworld" planetarium program at 7:30 p.m. Then, enjoy the state-of-the-art laser system that splashes brilliant light across the planetarium dome to musical accompaniment. Laser U2 (family) at 8:30, Laser Zeppelin (hard rock) at 10, and Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" at 11:30. All shows $6. Wild Side Cafe open 6 to 9 p.m. 524 J. Clyde Morris Blvd., Newport News.
