Some say "Climate is what you expect, weather is what you get!" Forecasts talk about "highs," "lows," "fronts," and "air masses" all somehow combining to produce rain, sun and wind. This seminar at the Virginia Living Museum explores how different kinds of clouds form, and what they can tell us about the weather ahead; how landforms and water help determine the weather and climate, and how our spinning Earth sets it all in motion.
