Enjoy a bike tour of Williamsburg
Williamsburg is a bicycle-friendly city! With all levels of trails available throughout the city and beyond, biking is an option for everyone.
Enjoy a leisurely pedal through the Historic District if you are sightseeing, doing some shopping, or just want to explore the area. If you’re looking for something a bit more challenging, there is a 20-mile route along the scenic Colonial Parkway, the beautiful expanse of highway that connects the cities of Virginia’s Historic Triangle: Jamestown, Colonial Williamsburg, and Yorktown.
The Colonial Parkway of Virginia is a 23-mile stretch of roadway without commercial development, with pine and evergreen forest, natural beauty, and bucolic views of the Virginia countryside. There are moderate loops that combine scenic sections of the Parkway with local trails that offer any number of historic and charming settings.
