Zach McDonnell, freshman at William & Mary University in Williamsburg, VA has been chosen to compete in the 24th College Championships on Jeopardy! McDonnell is one of 15 undergraduates that will be competing for the $100,000 grand prize, as well as a spot in the Tournament of Champions.
A Harrisonburg, Virginia native, McDonnell beat out 12,000 student candidates for the spot on the popular game show. William & Mary, Cal Poly, Harvard, and Eastern Illinois University will be represented in the tournament. The competition will air from February 1st until the 14th. Jeopardy shows at 7:30pm EST.
